- Toast bread cubes at 300°F for 10 minutes until crisp.
- Cook sausage until browned; set aside. Sauté onions, celery, and apples in butter until soft and caramelized.
- Mix bread, sausage, and apple mixture; season with herbs, salt, and pepper. Add broth and eggs, then combine.
- Transfer to a greased dish and bake at 350°F for 35–40 minutes until golden and tender.
- Rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish as desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of apple cider vinegar or a sprinkle of fresh herbs before baking.
