Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix mashed bananas with melted butter.
  2. Add baking soda, salt, sugar, egg, and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Stir in flour and fold in chocolate chips. Combine cinnamon and brown sugar.
  4. Pour half batter into loaf pan, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar, add remaining batter, and swirl.
  5. Bake for 60-65 minutes; cool before serving.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
