Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 ripe bananas ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas with melted butter, then add baking soda, salt, sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Stir in cinnamon and nutmeg, then fold in flour until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into pan and bake for 60-65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, use ripe bananas and do not overmix the batter.
