Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg beaten egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch salt
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar (for cinnamon swirl)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for cinnamon swirl)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas with melted butter, then add sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Stir in baking soda, salt, and flour until just combined.
  4. Combine sugar and cinnamon for the swirl. Pour half batter into pan, sprinkle with half cinnamon sugar.
  5. Add remaining batter and top with rest of cinnamon sugar. Swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, cool before serving.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
