Ingredients
  

Banana Bread
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Cinnamon Swirl
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix bananas, butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla in a bowl.
  3. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Add to wet mixture.
  4. Combine cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl.
  5. Pour half the batter, sprinkle half the cinnamon mixture, then repeat.
  6. Swirl cinnamon mixture through the batter.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Tent with foil if browning too quickly.
  8. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped nuts or chocolate chips to the batter.
