Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then add bananas, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla; mix well.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; fold into wet mixture.
- Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if using, then pour batter into pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes; cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a handful of chocolate chips or chopped nuts.
