Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
Eggs
  • 2 large large eggs
Sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
Butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
Milk
  • 1 cup milk
Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Flour
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
Salt
  • ½ teaspoon salt
Walnuts
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, eggs, sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add dry ingredients to wet, mix gently.
  4. Fold in walnuts, pour batter into pan, and bake 50-60 minutes.
  5. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a handful of chocolate chips or dried fruit.
