  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas about 2 bananas
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, pumpkin, oil, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Whisk together dry ingredients; add to wet mixture and combine.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips and fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
  5. Bake 18-20 minutes; cool before serving.
