  • 2 large bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
dry ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, pumpkin, sugars, oil, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Combine dry and wet ingredients; fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into pan and bake for 60-65 minutes; cool before serving.
