Method
- Grease a cake pan with butter and add parchment paper.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- Combine yogurt, eggs, salt, pepper, sugar, and cayenne. Add flour, 5 oz cheese, and green onions.
- Cook macaroni until al dente, reserving 1/4 cup pasta water. Drain.
- Add melted butter, macaroni, and pasta water to batter. Transfer to pan, top with remaining cheese and cayenne.
- Bake until cheese is browned and cake is set, about 25 minutes. Garnish with green onion.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use sharp cheddar cheese. Adjust cayenne pepper to your spice preference.
