- Mix mashed bananas, sourdough starter, melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
- Whisk baking soda, salt, and flour; add to wet ingredients, stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips, pour into pan, and smooth top.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.

Use ripe bananas for best flavor and mash well for even mixing.
